In Euskadi, and specifically in Laga Surf Camp, as well as being able to enjoy one of your best surfing experiences, you can also have fun thanks to the countless concerts and festivals that take place near our Surf Camp; the ideal plan for music lovers.
The first destination you can’t miss is the well-known music festival Bilbao BBK Live, which will be held this year 2019 in Bilbao on 11, 12 and 13 July, and which this year will be visited by well-known artists such as The Strokes, Rosalía, Vetusta Morla, Liam Gallagher, Thom Yorke, the frontman of Radiohead, Brockhampton, Idles, Suede and Vince Staples, in addition to the already announced Weezer. The line-up for this edition will be completed by Belatz, The Blaze, Cala Vento, Cut Copy, EraBatera, Hot Chip, John Grant, Jonathan Bree, Kero Kero Bonito, The Good, the Bad & the Queen, Mourn, Cupido, Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba, Oso Leone, Perro, Khruangbin, Modeselektor, Ms Nina, Mueveloreina, Nathy Peluso, Nicola Cruz, Nils Frahm, Olatz Salvador, Omar Souleyman, Pony Bravo, Princess Nokia, Serrulla, Shame, Slaves, Sleaford Mods, Uniforms, Viagra Boys, The Voidz and Yaeji among others.
Another festival that we can’t fail to recommend and which also takes place very close to our surf camp is the Mundaka Festival, which this year also celebrates its fifth anniversary and does so with a new name: Bay Of Biscay Festival 2019.
The festival will take place from 26th to 28th July in Mundaka, in the heart of the Urdaibai biosphere reserve in Bizkaia. Although these dates are not far away, the details of the artists who will be on the line-up are still unknown, but we are sure that the organisers will announce it soon, a guaranteed success, as were the previous editions!
In addition, both festivals are some of the alternatives that you cannot miss this summer, and we assure you that there is no better plan than combining music and surfing thanks to our surf camp for your group of friends or individually, which offers you accommodation with all the comforts thanks to our facilities both in the surf hostel and in the agrotourism, to enjoy with friends or as a couple.
And if you want to add even more music to this plan, you can check out the concerts offered by popular towns and cities that you will find at the centre of our surf camp. The festivals in Bilbao, Mundaka, Gernika, Ea… and of course, cities like Donostia and Vitoria-Gasteiz, which as well as being cities with free concerts during their Semanas Grandes, also have their own music festivals.
