Laga Surf Camp has its own insurance for our camp activities, so although it is not necessary, it is a good idea to bring a copy of your health insurance card.

At Laga Surf Camp we like to work in small groups to ensure quality teaching.

Our ratio is one instructor for every 6 students. We also give private technique and improvement classes.

On the first day of the course at our school we will analyse the level of each student in order to adapt the groups and adjust the learning levels. This does not imply that during the camp and the progress of each student we will not change groups and move on to more advanced stages if required.

There are 3 levels of surfing:

  • Beginners: aimed at those with little or no surfing experience.
  • Intermediate: for those students who have already reached the second step and have a controlled stand up and want to start surfing away from the shore, as long as the conditions allow it.
  • Advanced: the highest level of the school, led by a high-level surfer/coach who knows the basics and fundamentals of surfing to the letter. He will be watching your technique and giving you guidelines to improve it.

Don’t worry about not having the equipment, in our surf camps we provide you with all the necessary equipment to suit your learning needs: beginner and advanced surfboards, 3.2 full wetsuits (which are suitable for the junior camp season and the temperature of our waters at that time of year).

If you want you can bring your own equipment, we will provide you with a space in our surfboard storage room to leave it.

The food will be nutritionally varied and balanced, and will consist of:

  • A first course: pasta, rice, legumes, purées, salads.
  • A second course: meat or fish.
  • Dessert: fruit, yoghurt, ice cream…
  • In addition, the camp includes a fruit, a juice or similar and an energy bar at mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

We are aware that this is a need more and more present in our clients, so you only have to tell us about your allergy so that we can prepare your special menu.

Laga Surf Camp also gives you this possibility and that’s why we offer you our adapted menu, don’t hesitate to ask us for it.

From Laga Surf Camp we want to advance that we have been preparing contingency measures against covid-19 for some time now.

We have designed our own contingency plan with a company dedicated to the sector of prevention and occupational hazards and, strictly following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health to be able to carry out safe camps for young people.

In phase 3 we will be able to start working with special seating and hygienic measures for our sector, which is why we want to offer you a service with the best guarantees.

We are in a special year, after many weeks of confinement it is time to enjoy and do sport.

Don’t forget to book your place as we are only a few weeks away from starting and this year places are going to be limited.

We are only running 3 weeks of youth camps and the enrolment period is now open.
