Laga Surf Camp is a surf camp and surf school located in the village of Ibarrangelu, Bizkaia, in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, one of the most beautiful places in Euskadi (Basque Country).
In our SurfCamp we have been offering surf camps, surf courses for young people between 10 and 17 years old and adult surf courses since 2008.
Laga Surf Camp has fully equipped facilities, a Rural House and a Hostel to make your stay at our Surf Camp unforgettable. You can also learn surfing with qualified instructors in our Surf School on the Laga beach and in Laida-Mundaka´s, where you will have all the required equipment at your disposal. We offer courses from beginners to advanced.
Surf camps for young people between 10 and 17 years old. In our own Surf hostel, with all the comforts, in the village of Ibarrangelu (Bizkaia, Basque Country). Enjoy surfing, making friends and having a great time, live unique experiences that you will always remember.
Surf camps for people over 18 years old. Learn surfing with qualified teachers. The surf courses last 2 hours a day and the surf material is included. Surf Camp in Bizkaia with two accommodation options: hotel or rural house.
In the Beginners’ Surfing Courses in Biscay, we teach you the basics of surfing, and you can choose between the two perfect locations for surfing, the Laga Surf School or the Laida-Mundaka Surf School.
The Follow-up Surf Courses are for all Laga Surf Camp Club members who have already completed a few beginner surf courses and want to improve their surfing skills by coming on a regular basis to our Surf Courses with our winter team.
The improvement courses are for all those who already have all the basic knowledge of initiation and for all those who already catch waves on their own and now want to improve their technique.
The Mundaka-Laida Surf School is located on Laida Beach, on the Biscay coast (Basque Country), the perfect spot for surfing for beginners (Laida) and experts (Mundaka, considered one of the 10 best waves in the world).
The wave at Mundaka Beach has become a reference for surfers all over the world, as it is rated as “the best left-hand wave in the world”.It is, after all, it has the category of “surfing reserve” and every year the World Surfing Championship takes place there.
The Laga Surf School is located in Laga Beach, a perfect spot for surfing. It is a beautiful dune beach located in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, in Bizkaia (Basque Country), next to Cape Ogoño.
Laga beach has ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates for quality and environmental management respectively.
Our Surf Hostel, a fully renovated shelter, with 3 spacious and comfortable floors designed to host 40 people, is strategically located in the centre of Ibarrangelu, in Bizkaia (Basque Country), with all the necessary services very close to the Hostel and only 3 km from the Laga beach.
Rural house located 1.5 km from the Laga beach and 1 km from the village of Ibarrangelu, with an enabled walkway to go down to the beach and to go to the village.
Our agritourism is located next to the beaches of Laga and Laida, fully equipped and with all the comforts.
